Chiefs to Host Two STM Days Presented by GEHA at Arrowhead Stadium during 2020 Training Camp


With the approval of a plan with reduced capacity for fans to return to Arrowhead Stadium in 2020 announced yesterday, the Kansas City Chiefs will host two special Season Ticket Member Days at Arrowhead during 2020 Chiefs Training Camp presented by CommunityAmerica Credit Union .

The first day for Season Ticket Member will be on Saturday 22nd August, with the second taking place on Saturday 29th August, with both events being presented by GEHA. Due to restrictions in place as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, capacity limitations for both days will be in place, including a maximum of 2,000 current Season Ticket Members on Saturday, August 22, and up to 5,000 current Season Ticket Members on Saturday, August 29. . To celebrate the team’s Super Bowl LIV Championship at a time that includes at least part of the Club Ticket Members, a new championship flag will be raised on the flagpole above the west side zone to match the Super Bowl of the Club IV Championship flag at the Season Ticket Member event on Saturday, August 29th. A new championship banner will also be unveiled at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, September 10 during pregame festivities prior to the NFL Kickoff Game vs. of the Houston Texans.

All members of the season ticket who have applied for their 2020 payment for the 2021 season will receive direct email communication with instructions on how to redeem a seat after one of the two special Season Ticket Member days at Arrowhead via Chiefs Kingdom Rewards. Season ticket members who purchase a spot will receive four tickets and a parking pass. Due to physical distance guidelines, all tickets must be used by well-known guests and cannot be transferred.

All members of the season ticket will be subject to the policies and protocols outlined for a safe return to Arrowhead Stadium, available at www.chiefs.com/stadium/covid/, including mandatory masks for all fans . Fans attending each event must bring and wear their own mask when entering the complex and stadium.

There will be a GEHA sponsor, Chiefs-branded gift and a radio receiver arm transmitter offered to fans upon arrival at their seats, allowing fans to tune in to Chiefs Radio Network crew members for a live closed circuit broadcast during the practice. Complementary food and beverage options will be provided, with some additional options on sale.

Other important notes about the new fan experience coming to these Season Ticket Member events:

  • All bags, including previously approved clear bags, will be banned in the stadium to minimize contact during the security screening process. Guests should only bring necessary items that can fit in their pockets. For guests with medical needs, items should be brought in a clear plastic bag and guests should present their bag to staff during the screening process.   • All concessions and retail points of sale will be cashless. Fans can use traditional payment options for credit and debit cards, such as tap and mobile payment platforms.
  • Smoking will not be allowed inside the stadium, including vaping. Spraying of any kind (tobacco, sunflower seeds, etc.) is also prohibited.
  • STMs will have wide entry points and zones based on seating to minimize contact with other guests.

Both practices will begin at 9:15 a.m. and last until about 11:30 p.m. All parking will be general admission only, and cars will be parked in all other parking spaces to allow sufficient physical distance between groups of guests.
