Thanks to the Chiefs, AFC West has become football’s most predictable division. The Chiefs have won the division four times in a row and are a huge favorite to do it again in 2020. Of course, the Chiefs are not perfect. One reason the division is ranked so low is because the AFC West’s best team really fought non-divisional teams in 2019. The Chiefs came out only 6-4 outside of the division, and just as a reminder, just one of the Losses occurred while Mahomes was injured.

He went 6-6 as a starter, with 21 touchdown passes versus six interceptions, while building a good relationship with young catcher DJ Chark (1,008 receiving yards, eight touchdowns). Apparently, Minshew did enough to earn a shot this season to establish himself as the team’s long-term starter, given that the Jags did not select or sign a serious competitor for the quarterback photos. Hiring former Washington head coach Jay Gruden as Jacksonville’s offensive coordinator will only help Minshew’s cause. I think this player will be pretty good, when all is said and done.
