NBC Chicago reported that the most recent murder included the death of a man, 37, who was riding a bicycle, who was shot in the chest and neck. No arrests have been made.

Lori Lightfoot, Mayor of Chicago, has been in a war of words with President Trump about violence in his city. The two spoke on the phone late last week to discuss crime in the city.
