White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany shot Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Thursday, calling the western part “abandoned” when it comes to dealing with crime in her city.

Trump’s adviser argued that cities with high crime rates, such as Chicago, should receive more federal assistance.

“The abandoned Chicago mayor should step up and ask for help because she is doing a very poor job of securing her streets,” said McEnany.

This came after McEnany dodged questions about President Donald Trump’s refusal to acknowledge that police kill African Americans at much higher rates than whites. Instead, he pointed to evidence that black people are much more likely to be victims of all kinds of homicides.

Lightfoot, Chicago’s first black mayoress, wasted no time on her response.

“Hi Karen. Take care of your mouth,” she tweeted, using the popular term to refer to racist and entitled white women.
