Chicago Cubs lineup: Trade deadline acquisition returns to Jose Martinez DH

Hey, Jose Quintana is back! Have fun Here is the Cubs lineup for the second match of four games against the Pirates.

Chicago Cubs Lineup:

1. Ian Hep, CF.
2. Wilson Contreras, c
3. Anthony Rizzo, 1b
4. Javi Base, S.S.
5. Kyle Schwaber, LF
6. David Boat, 3b
7. Cameron Maybin, RF
8. Jose Martinez, D.H.
9. Nico Horner, 2b

Take a guess in hand a ton of pirates tonight…. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. Here are his divisions for his career:

V. RHH: .270 / .364 / .437 (.345 WOBA)
V. LHH: .238 / .340 / .336 (.304 WOBA)

And so, Cameron Maybin (not Jason Hayward) and Nico Horner (not Jason Kipnis) are both in line tonight. However, the biggest news is the return of Jose Martinez, the final acquisition of the Cubes, which was supposed to help him against the lefties, but he is not really successful in the 18 plate representations he received before being sent to the South Band.

Kids can actually use Martinez’s bat under the stretch and in the postseason, so I hope he gets what he wants out during his interval. As always, we’ll have your full pre-game post close to game time (6:05 CT).
