Chicago Bears’ Matt Nagy Assigns Plaque All Gender Duties to OC Bill Lazarus

Luck Forest, Ill. – Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy announced Friday that he has handed over the offensive placling duty to coordinator Bill Lazar ahead of the NFC North Game vs. Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.

“It’s kind of where we’re,” Nagy said in a video call after Friday’s practice. “You feel and you understand, ‘Well, that’s our crime right now,’ and we’re struggling and for different reasons. I don’t think that’s a particular reason, but if there’s something that Help us spark, or sometimes it’s just a change.

“It’s like bringing, for example, a different kind of clock. You have a big pitcher that throws in one way, now you have another jar that throws in another way. Sometimes change can be good in that regard. “So again, there’s nothing wrong with that. We’re struggling right now for some special reason, and I think that’s the best thing for this team.”

Since taking over as head coach in January 2018, Nagy Bear has been the lone offensive plaque. Due to the time spent sinking into Andy Reed’s aggressive system as an assistant in Philadelphia and Kansas City, the Bears hired a snake.

“Is that hard to do? Sure,” Nagy said. “If I tell you it’s easy, I’m lying to each of you. It’s not easy. It’s one of my favorite parts of coaching. I love calling plays. I like it. I love it.

“Is it permanent, like you asked me before? No, it’s not permanent. But guess what? If this is the best for the team, I’ll do it. We need to do what is best for us, no. Matt. What’s best for Nagy. Here I am. I’m excited about it, you know, look forward to it. “

The 2018 NFL Coach of the Year, Nagy – has a 25-16 career regular-season record, but the third-year head coach was under pressure to fix the Bears’ sputtering offense. Chicago ranked third in yards per game (8.11) and third-down conversions (.38..3%) and 29th in points per game (1.8..8), yards per carry (71. and1) and Yards per pass (71,711) are in nine games. The bear (-4–4) is also rated 30th in Red Zone Offensive Efficiency.

Lazor, who joined the last se fission of the Nagy staff, previously served as the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins (2014-15) and the Cincinnati Bengals (2017-18).

“I think a lot of us – maybe all of us, are at a very disappointing point right now,” Lazore said in a video call Friday morning. “What does it feel like? It’s not satisfactory when you work hard at it and it doesn’t produce what you want. But that’s why, in the long run in this league, we’re human to bring out the Sikh spirit, so you feel frustrated But you have to get rid of it. You have to be analytical and scientific about it.

“You have to deal with reality, well, what’s not going well and how are we going to fix it? You have to be solution oriented. How to get better? – Sometimes it seems like a huge task, but when you cut it into small pieces and you handle a few things at a time, then big things can be tackled.

“It’s our focus. It’s always been that way. The magic pill I’ve got has never come. So let’s take a little care at a time, be analytical about it, get rid of the emotion, try to overcome the frustration. And it will be a great story later. “
