Music and film icon Cher, for her part, looked to volunteer at a post office because they could certainly use the help now. “Can volunteer at post office ⁉️” she tweeted the morning of August 19th. Volunteer at my post office ⁉️ ”she tweeted 20 minutes later. To be honest: it’s a good idea! Things did not look short then Cher tweeted, “NO ONE IS HELPING WITH POST OFFICE 🙄”
Eventually, Cher took matters into her own hands and did some research. “OK, 2 post offices mentioned in Malibu. They were polite,” she said tweeted. “I said, ‘This is Cher, and I’d like to know if you ever volunteer.’ Okay, pause: Could you imagine picking up the phone and hearing, “Hello, this is Cher?” Anyway, back to the woman herself. “Lady said ‘She did not know me and gave me # of supervisor. I called & said Hi this is Cher. You accept volunteers.’ No, necessary
