Chelsea Handler recreates Martha Stewart’s pool selfie while quarantined

Just a day after Martha Stewart went viral with her selfie by the pool, comedian Chelsea Handler recreated the photo of the 78-year-old icon.

Handler, 45, visited Instagram on Wednesday night to share a glamorous selfie by the pool, posing as Stewart did on Thursday.

Stewart was also praised for staying in such good shape at the age of 78.

“I’m here to take @ marthastewart48’s swimming class,” Handler captioned as he took photos in his pool.

“If I look so good at 78, I’d better still have a pool to show me,” added the comedian.

Martha, on the other hand, took the selfie Tuesday to beat the heat, while sharing some background on how she built the pool.

‘My pool in East Hampton is the place to be on an 89 degree day!’ Stewart started, before explaining how clean the pool is.

“When I built the pool thirty years ago, it was designed to be as chlorine-free as possible, with a natural, unpainted concrete finish, and it fit a long, narrow space between the house and the property line,” added.

“ I made it deeper to dive and no protruding steps so that we could really run the length without worrying about obstacles. After all these years, it’s a fun place to swim! The icon concluded.

Masks: Handler made headlines last week when he tried to get people to wear masks, in a rather unusual way.

The Chelsea Lately star molded two blue medical facial masks into a makeshift bikini, with another mask around her face, while exercising.

“Everyone needs to find a mask and put it on because I would like to have fun again,” Handler began.

Body: `` People want their children to go back to school again and we are abusing our healthcare workers, so find a mask and put it anywhere on your body! I love my body! ' she said as she walked away from the camera
