Everything is going in a row as Chelsea finally seeks to secure Champions League football by beating a strong team of the Wolves on the last day of the season. The loss to Liverpool, after a convincing previous victory, once again underscored our lack of consistency when playing with a three on the back. So will you be given another chance to shine?
THE CHOICE OF PEOPLE
The quick answer is no, as the WAGNH community votes 4-3-3 in favor of 3-4-3 (38%), even though the latter worked well in our first meeting with the Lobos. Similarly, Kepa Arrizabalaga’s (36%) horror show on Wednesday means Willy Caballero is back in favor, just like in February. Life comes fast!
With the return of the back, the defense changed predictably. Reece James, Antonio Rüdiger, Kurt Zouma and César Azpilicueta had been the preferred quartet recently, so they are also here. Andreas Christensen (25%), Marcos Alonso (51%) and Emerson (3%) are excluded, joining Fikayo Tomori (16%), who has just returned from an injury.
N’Golo Kanté is also returning from the treatment room, but he is directly returning to the lineup, whose presence has been greatly missed in the past two games, either in frame-by-frame or in a bigger role. Mason Mount and Mateo Kovačić complete the trio in midfield, while Jorginho (30%) takes a seat alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek (16%) and Ross Barkley (19%) on the bench.
Tammy Abraham (15%) met his goal well on Wednesday, but so did Olivier Giroud, and he has simply been one of our best players since the restart and therefore gets the initial go-ahead. Another obvious choice was Christian Pulisic. A less obvious one was Willian, who, however, still easily gets rid of the competition from Callum Hudson-Odoi (26%) and Pedro (2%).

I am not going to argue much with community formation.
Finally I came to the same conclusion that Kepa has to be discarded. However, our defense was not much better, so I would like Christensen to come back for Rüdiger and save me some heart attacks. So I would like to see Hudson-Odoi start after a promising cameo and great assist against Liverpool.
