NFL players are tested every day during the first 2 weeks of training camp – which opened on July 28th.
And judging by these recordings of Hayward taken prisoner by HBO’s “Hard Knocks” … it’s just not a habit!
Both the L..A Chargers and the LA Rams are to be seen on the documentary series this season – a major change for the show that has traditionally only chronicled the journey of one team in the regular season.
The COVID pandemic will play a major role in the show based on clips released by HBO.
One scene shows how Chargers coaches no longer have players coming together to “break” it after a practice session.

Instead, players are instructed to sing, “1, 2, 3 … Chargers!” while socially distancing each other during drills.
Strange … considering football is a collision sport that requires players to smother each other and they are likely to work on tackles and / or near misses at some point during practice.
But hey, appreciate the effort.
