Chance the Rapper has revealed that he has more confidence in a Kanye West presidency than a Joe Biden presidency.
The American hitmaker made the comments in a Twitter discussion about West’s upcoming presidential race, which he announced earlier this month.
Responding to West’s release of a new music video dedicated to his late mother Donda, Chance tweeted: “And everyone here trying to convince me to vote for Biden. Smfh.

When a follower wrote that “We are against Kanye running for president,” Chance replied, “Why? Is there a better option?
Pressured by many of his supporters to expand his statements in favor of West and why he would hypothetically support him, Chance said West’s proposed policies have intrigued him.
“Compensation. Abolition of prison. Universal basic housing. Educational reform. Universal Basic Income,” Chance wrote. “There is more work than ion for people so sick that they let him do his job. I’m just saying we’ve been doing this for the same way for a long time. Can a black man have a chance?
West has outlined a handful of unclear policies that he wants to explore if he continues his presidential career, indicating that he is “pro-life” and anti-vaccine. He also alluded to amending the U.S. Constitution and introducing reparations, while explaining that he would run as an Independent or Republican, but only if Donald Trump decides not to run for a second term.
After more Chance supporters offered reasons why they would not support a Western presidency, Chance wrote: “I finally got the answer now. I get it. Everyone trusts Biden more than everyone trusts Ye. I think I understand why, I just don’t feel the same way. “
He also suggested that the past lack of involvement in West politics is attractive to him.
“Kanye West has zero blood on his hands, and constantly comparing a black artist’s record with that of white politicians and billionaires is nonsense,” he wrote. “You want real change.”
Chance and West have collaborated on various tracks since 2013, including West’s album “Ultralight Beam” Pablo’s life.
