The NFL will turn for the Masters, but it won’t break.
According to Sports business daily, CBS will return from the final round of the Delayed-April-Golf Classic if the final holes were not played on Sunday at 4:00 p.m., while CBS will televise the regional slate of the games.
While ABC will broadcast any remaining golf, CBS announcers are still handling the call. Since 1956, CBSA has televised every nook and cranny of every Masters tournament.
Don’t expect bad weather for Sunday, but the long playoff intersects with football.
To mitigate the protests with the Masters, the NFL has already advanced several games in the late-afternoon window from 1:00 p.m. CBS, which does not have early games, will televise the Bill-Cardinals, Broncos-Riders and Chargers-Dolphins at 4:05 p.m. Crossflex of the Seahawks-Rams, 49ers-Saints, and Bengals-Steelers at Fox is 4:25 ET.
