CBS Sets the Premiere of the Delayed Season of All-Stars – Deadline


Older brother It will officially happen this summer. CBS to Release Season Premiere of Big Brother: All-Stars Wednesday August 5.

The two-hour live move from the long-running reality series will air between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. and comes after Deadline revealed that pre-production started earlier this month.

The show traditionally starts in June, but as a result of the COVID-19 production shutdown, it has taken a bit longer than expected. The network will broadcast three weekly episodes of the program presented by Julie Chen Moonves on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

All-Star guests will include winners, finalists, legends, memorable personalities, and some of the best ever to win the game. Season 22, which comes after the 20 of the programth Anniversary of its release in the United States, it is the second time in its history that it features a cast of stars, having done so previously in 2006.

In terms of health and safety protocols, housemates will undergo a quarantine period before production and will be screened multiple times before entering the house. Once inside, they will be evaluated weekly during the season and will have no contact with any crew member, and all delivered supplies will be disinfected. Also, the live show will not have a studio audience.

All personnel and crew members will be screened prior to commencing work on a regular basis, and will be examined daily for symptoms. They will be asked to wear PPE and will work in capsules to improve social distancing. Additionally, a COVID-19 compliance officer will be on staff to monitor and enforce all COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

The show is produced by Fly on the Wall Entertainment and Endemol Shine North America with Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan as executive producers.
