Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas plan to do nothing more than ‘kiss passionately’ on their 20th wedding anniversary


Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary simpler than normal.

The couple reaches their next relationship milestone on November 18.

“We are not having a big party,” Zeta-Jones recently told People. “It’s not like I’m a big fan of the party anyway.”

Although 20 years of marriage is cause for great celebration, the “The Legend of Zorro” star revealed that she and Douglas, 75, are taking special precautions due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“It would be nice to bring all of our friends together in one space, but we won’t until we are completely out of the woods,” Zeta-Jones said.

The Welsh actress stated that her wedding anniversary plans will be simple.

“I will lift my mask and let my husband kiss me passionately, then I will put it back on firmly,” she said.

Zeta-Jones and Douglas have been quarantined along with their two children, Dylan, 19, and Carys, 17, now that they are home from school.

“Suddenly they came back to our house and it was wonderful,” said the actress on the “Today” show. “It was just breakfast, lunch and dinner all together.”
