Carole Baskinthe rescue organization says Jeff Lowe not being a cool cat or kitty when it comes to obeying a court order Exotic JoeThe old zoo … and she wants a judge to intervene.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Big Cat Rescue claims that Jeff is not complying with the June court order, when a judge granted rescue control of the exotic animal park.
In the documents, Carole’s organization says Jeff is deferring payments due under the order … including the June deadline to deliver certain insurance formalities, and is not bifurcating payments that were supposed to start in July. . The organization wants to be found in contempt of court.
According to the documents, the organization also claims that Jeff is funneling money from the zoo to his own separate company, and the organization criticizes him for filming reality shows on the property instead of complying with the court order.
The two sides had a contempt hearing scheduled for this week, but Jeff said he was unable to appear due to health problems … and a judge agreed to reschedule the hearing. We are told that Jeff missed the hearing because he thought he had contracted the coronavirus (2 tests were ultimately negative for COVID-19) and is still ill and will continue to be quarantined as a precaution.

Sources close to Jeff tell TMZ … that the order was delivered to Jeff’s attorneys the day it was issued, and that the lawsuits were unenforceable … making it more likely that Jeff could be charged with disrespect. His camp believes that was Carole’s intention.
Sources say the organization requires Jeff to purchase a $ 5 million insurance policy at the zoo for the next two months, but they tell us that Jeff feels that Carole knows that is impossible to obtain.
Our sources say Jeff is NOT currently in contempt, and attorneys on both sides are close to a resolution.
