Princess Cruise has announced that she will cancel all cruises from US ports until May 14 – more than a year after the industry stabilized in mid-March last year.

The Princess herself was initially affected by the epidemic: her two ships, the Diamond Princess and the Grand Princess, were among the first ships to be quarantined passengers due to coronavirus infection.

Earlier, Princess Cruise revoked all the guidelines by March 31. Additional scraps are working on plans to resume the cruise line that will meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Conditional Travel Announced in Cond October”.

The further suspension also applies to European cruises scheduled before May 15, Princess Cruise spokeswoman Negin Kamali told USA Today.

Carnival Cruise Line also announced an increase in its voyage suspension, canceling cruises scheduled for March 31 in U.S. waters.

The carnival also canceled a domestic international cruise and an international cruise internationally in June, according to a statement issued by spokesman Vance Guliksen.

While many changes to the schedule are related to sea voyage rules, including travel-length restrictions, some are also related to scheduled dry-dock work.

Cancellation includes:

  • All navies from U.S. ports until March 31st.
  • Carnival Freedom 10 April Trip from Galveston.
  • Carnival Miracle Navy from San Diego and San Francisco by September 16th.
  • Carnival Liberty trip from Port Canaveral from 18 September to 18 Oct October.
  • A trip from Charleston to Carnival Sunshine from 11 October to 13 November.
  • The Carnival Spirit’s 15-day trip from Singapore to Brisbane will depart on June 12.

“We apologize for disappointing our guests, as we can see from our booking activity that there is a clear demand for a tour of the carnival,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, in a statement.

Duffy added that the cruise line plans to start operations in 2021 with a “phased approach”, including Carnival Corp.’s parent company, Carnival Corp. Has been frequently referenced since the beginning of the epidemic.

Has been canceled because the U.S. Covid-19 cases continue to see an upward trend, reaching 21 million cases on Tuesday night, just four days after 20 million cases were reported, Johns Hopkins data shows. And Georgia became the fifth state to report the most infectious virus strain cases in the United Kingdom, joined by Colorado, California, Florida and New York.

Carnival Corporation’s other subsidiary, P&O Cruise Australia Australia, also announced on Wednesday that it was canceling a trip to New Zealand in April.

“P&O Cruise Australia is expanding its rolling halt in operations to and from Australia on April 25, 2021, as cruise lines and giant industry resume travel with government and public health officials. Working at the right time. ” The company said in a statement issued by spokeswoman Lindy Lamme.

The cruise line plans to return to New Zealand in July 2022, when the area has a 150-day season.

“We know better days are ahead and we remain positive about resuming cruising. While we have suspended operations, P&O is using the time with Cruise to plan the return of the cruise with a larger industry, “said Cruise Line President St Marm Ramel in a statement.
