Cardinal had apparently had another positive test, the game was postponed Friday (UPDATE)

I do not want to start freaking out immediately because we do not know the details of the positive test and how it was detected.

But at some point this week, the Cardinals apparently had another positive COVID-19 test, this time from a coach:

After the initial outbreak began more than two weeks ago, the Cardinals drip-drip tests are positive, possibly in part due to a decision to end the initial quarantine a day or two too early. This virus is so challenging.

I do not know much about the reliability of those attempts to track flights, but I do know that playing on Friday was always a long shot based on the Cardinals’ inability to pull themselves together on the field to work out . The hope had been that they could work out as well as tomorrow, and play three games against the White Sox over the course of two days this weekend.

Now? Once again, I do not know what to think. We will update as this shakes. It all changes so fast. The Cardinals still have 55 games to play and only 44 days to play them. And that if they can start playing on Saturday.

UPDATE: It’s unclear how this relates to the positive test reported by Heyman, but this is still the hope:
