Hell no !! But, YouTube superstar DID got to work with the NFL QB in a training session earlier this month … and he really did make some awesome catches!
Logan, who says he recently broke his wrist, saw Newton as he was leaving sports rehab in Los Angeles … and naturally they joined forces to create some #content.
The 2015 MVP recruited Paul to be his catcher for some throwing drills … starting with 5-yard stop routes and 10-yard digging routes … and we’ll keep him at bay: LP didn’t make it that hot.
“Everyone thinks they are athletes,” says Cam. “But, real athletes come out when you’re doing certain things athletically that you’re not used to doing.”
Newton Pats’ new teammate, fourth-round pick Devin AsiasiHe was there too … and things just went a little better.
So Logan brought him up a bit for the rest of training … connecting with Cam from 15, 35, and 50 yards!
Cam seemed genuinely impressed with Paul … and celebrated when the final deep bomb landed.
FYI – Logan was a star athlete in high school … and was an honorable mention across Ohio.
For a guy who says his old nickname was “Hands Free,” Logan didn’t do too badly!
Perhaps Bill Belichick will take a look? Ehh … prolly no.
