Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 is likely to present huge changes to the map

Call Of Duty Warzone is easily one of the most successful Battle Royale games available. According to reports, the game already has 60 million players playing worldwide. Infinity Ward and Infinity Ward have been very proactive in adhering to player feedback. This just means that Call Of Duty Warzone Season 5 will see a lot of big changes. Video Game Chronicle reported saying:

“The changes include a renovation of the game’s large soccer stadium to include an open interior, and the addition of a loot-packed train that will continually surround the game’s map, people involved in its development said.”

The developers have been constantly making big changes to the playlist in both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Call Of Duty Warzone Season 5 sets the stage for the 2020 title

Speculation on this issue has been going around for a while. The now open bunkers in Verdansk, a nuclear bomb, and constantly ringing phones that you can answer are part of the map. All of this points to the new Call of Duty title rumored to be ‘Black Ops: Cold War’.

“A new operator name ‘Wood’ has been discovered in Warzone’s game files this week, which matches the name of the main protagonist of Black Ops and suggests that he could face the battle alongside the heroes of Modern Warfare. The Reloaded this week’s fourth season update has progressed further in the metagame, with the addition of a new keyboard within Bunker 11 that prompts players to enter a code. So far, it seems no one has been able to unlock it. ” VGC reports.

Players seem to have another code to crack. This could lead us to the next clue that the franchise has to offer. This could also mean that developers plan to use the nuclear bomb in some way to set the stage for the new Call of Duty title announcement.

Warzone will be a constant part of the Call of Duty franchise

Activision, in all likelihood, plans to keep Call of Duty Warzone as a constant part of the franchise. As GamesRadar quoted Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki as saying Warzone is “The line that connects all the different Call of Duty sub-franchises.”

This confirms that Warzone could be used as the main platform to announce future Call of Duty titles.

The Warzone Season 4 update for Warzone now features Battle Royale quads with a 200-man lobby and tons of new weapon tweaks. While we wait for season 5, speculation about this year’s Call of Duty title continues to grow. Let’s see if the rumors are correct.
