Infinity Ward appears to be triggering their plans for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. Although the provocation is brief in detail, it can give us an indication of when to expect the next season to fall, including the possible arrival of a train. It could be sooner than you expected. Charlie Intel reports that the company sent a video to the Twitch transmitter NICKMERCS. The video shows the date August 5, which is when the current Battle Pass ends. It also shows a vehicle on a train track, and at the end of the video a helicopter flies overhead. One of Warzone Hunting the Enemy’s intelligence missions previously involved a train, and there have also been references to an underground train, so it may be possible to add it to the map. Datamining further suggests that the stadium will eventually open.
We may see more previews before the launch of the new season. There have also been constant rumors that Activision will provoke or announce this year’s Call of Duty game from Warfare, in the absence of a press event or televised sports games to showcase the big reveal. We know that Warzone will continue to evolve with the new annual Call of Duty game releases.
Infinity Ward often drops new game modes and big changes in new seasonal changes, along with new story content featuring fan-favorite characters. Warzone has also received significant mid-season updates.
