Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Cheshire Park Pied Piper Easter Egg

Call of Duty: Modern WarfareThe new Cheshire Park map has only been out for a day and the community has already discovered an Easter egg puzzle. The new map is in London, England, around a park. Near the center of the park, there is a plaza with a strikingly strange statue of the flute player, which is where this Easter egg really begins.

Now, for those of you who are unaware of your German myths, Pied Piper was a legend about a rat hunter who played his magical instrument that brought together all the rats in town. However, the people of the city refused to pay the piper, so he released the rats and played a new song that allowed him to take the children out of the city. (German myths involve a lot of child theft.)

So what does this have to do with Call of Duty? Well, on the Cheshire Park map, you can perform a series of strange tasks to help the Pied Pied Pied Piper reunite his fellow rodents.

To start the Easter egg, you will need to find and destroy five mouse traps. These traps are generated in random locations one by one. Once you destroy the last one, a piece of cheese will spawn for you to grab. After that, a different cheese wheel will appear elsewhere on the map. Track the cheese and take it to the Pied Piper statue and he will start playing his summoning song.

Once their song is played, the rats will invade the statue and look at their mythical master before exploding in an explosion of neon-colored paint. As strange as this may seem, it’s fun to know that Infinity Ward is open to putting silly secrets like this on Modern warThe maps of.
