‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’ players complain that their PS4 consoles are overheating

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone I have had more than one technical problem between them in the last few months. But while most of these technical issues and problems tend to be fixed by Infinity Ward pretty quickly, some players are now reporting an issue that I don’t think the developer can solve that easily.

Multiple users who enjoy both Modern war and its free Battle Royale spin-off have complained that the game is causing their PlayStation 4 consoles to overheat and run stronger than usual. If you have a PS4, I probably don’t need to tell you that its fan is already incredibly noisy at best, something the PlayStation 5 hopes to tackle.

As seen by Game Rant, Call Of Duty Pro Dillon “Attach” Price shared a clip of his PS4 being much taller than normal while playing Modern war. As someone who recently played The last of us, part III know what it sounds like when a PS4 is having trouble, and the Attach console was really struggling.

Attach’s video then promoted other players to share similar stories about their issues with Call Of Duty on PS4. One user even demonstrated how Modern war It seemed to be causing his console to overheat so much that it shut down.

It is worth noting that there is nothing to suggest that Modern war and War zone You could be directly responsible for these problems. We all know that the PS4 fan is a notorious beast, and it could be that those affected simply need to clean their vents or position their consoles in such a way that they are less likely to overheat.

However, some players seem convinced that the game lobby screen is not helping. The same user who demonstrated how their console would shut down explained that they had tried to clean up the PS4 and pointed to the menu’s ‘unlimited frame rate’ as the main offender.

Whatever the case, always make sure to keep your PS4 vents clear. If there is anything that can be done to address this, I am sure Infinity Ward will. Until then, just try not to stay in the lobby any longer than necessary, I guess.
