The studio held the title for days. The wait today finally came with the teaser’s reveal, though it hardly qualifies as one.
Reveal comes sooner than we thought
The poster’s promotional art does not appear much. An American soldier on one side and a Soviet soldier on the other. A clear nod to the game’s plot, but we’re set to get more details in just six days.
Prior to the big reveal, Activision decided to spend some time polishing their art. They simultaneously send mystery boxes to certain gamers and influencers. It turned out to be a kind of hunt, as they had to go through multiple challenges and decipher the cryptic information.
The clues lead them to the old Black Ops 4 which they redirect to a website. The website then opened that it would publish 5 different directions on 5 different days.
The definitive clue led them to the teaser trailer’s YouTube link for the game. However, it became bizarre toute because it had no in-game footage but just a hint of the background and setting.
What to expect from Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War reveal?
A major highlight in the trailer was the takeover of ‘Persues’; a code name for an individual who would infiltrate the U.S. government. The central plot could be almost the same and it would have to be very touching from the look of it.
On the other hand, Tom Henderson had some information to share on Twitter. He explained that Cold War Zombie reveal will come at a later date than the main title. The news is not particularly new, but many would expect to see a glimpse of it in the coming days.

Not everyone was happy with the teaser and a major reason behind that was the leaks that the rounds already had online. Those who have spent much of their time figuring out the challenges end up with the same news that most people already knew.
Some more crucial information about the upcoming game may drop in Warzone, Call of Duty’s big battle royale. Unless the studio has a sudden change in heart, we will soon have a revelation in Verdansk.
