New data-mined leaks for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War reveal evidence of an Open Beta as well as possible pre-order bonuses that could be packaged in addition to the blockbuster release.
First reported by CODTracker, the leaks revealed more information about the next entry in the Black Ops subseries, including the mention of a Battle Pass that would be part of a yet to be announced seasonal structure for content.
The datamine suggests that players who pre-order Black Ops Cold War will have early access to the Open Beta, similar to how Activision carried out the release for Modern Warfare in 2019.
Just like any other leak, the recorded details and information may change once the developers actually have the opportunity to announce their intentions.

Black Ops Cold War leaks
The Open Beta lets Call of Duty players who purchase this year’s upcoming game experience the title before anyone else.
While the new information did not indicate if it would be early access to the campaign as a multiplayer, it could be the same as MW 2019 which had a small preview of the action.
There were a few different phases of the Open Beta with Modern Warfare. There was the initial play test intended for streamers and media, followed by broader releases at later dates that owners of the game had purchased in advance.
It’s unclear if Treyarch will follow a similar format this time around, but, if the leaks prove to be real, there will at least be a way for the general public to sign up for the game before the Holiday Window.

Furthermore, the leaks include detailed pre-order bonuses such as a ‘Confrontation Weapons Pack’, ‘the’ Land, Sea and Air Pack ‘and a Season 1 Battle Pass Bundle.
Frank Woods would soon be coming to Warzone, with Black Ops Cold War leaks working him out as the next Warzone operator.
The datamine also revealed a ‘Woods Operator Pack in Modern Warfare and Warzone’, which the Black Ops star would introduce to the battle royale component of the franchise.
There are a lot of questions surrounding the upcoming game, and fans are definitely expecting the opening of Call of Duty: official Black Ops Cold War which will premiere on August 26 in Warzone.
