On the show, the two appeared dressed as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and introduced themselves as Kim Jong-sui and Kim Yong-er.
Hosts Dimitar Rachkov and Zueka have been criticized by a Korean site for commenting on Korean star Pack Ji Min, better known as JIM, from the Korean boy group BTS, HotArena reports.
The presenters of the best show on Nova TV, Like Two Drops of Water, received serious reprimands for joking about Dara’s image last week.
The reason for the criticism is not the presentation of Dara in the image of the Korean mascot, but the comments of Zueka and Rachkov, the Korean site koredboo.com specifies. They say the actors have made inappropriate statements that can be considered racist and offend not only the group but the entire Korean culture.
On the show, the two appeared dressed as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and introduced themselves as Kim Jong-sui and Kim Yong-er, playing a comic drawing.
His comments that people on stage did not go to the barracks because of his dyed hair, which seemed “dawn,” greatly irritated the Koreans, writes “Bulgaria Today.”
The two jokes sparked outrage, as the newspaper suggested the South Koreans were female. And Rachkov’s comment, “I don’t see, because I’m hallucinating,” was already the cover of the show, according to the publication, which he thought could be considered an affront to Asians.
K-pop culture is very popular in South Korea and is part of the culture of the people there. And they don’t take the sarcastic sweeps associated with it well. Hilda was also involuntarily involved in the scandal by saying that she thought Dara’s image was a girl.
