“I want to show the middle finger to the Bulgarians.” This scandalous statement was made today by the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, on the air of local TV21.
Asked by the host of the “Click Plus” program Boryan Jovanovski if he wants to show the middle finger to Bulgarians after the veto that our country imposed on them to join the EU, Zaev said:
“It’s the easiest thing. It comes to me, how can I not think of it. I have every right in the world to do it after everything we’ve done.” However, he explained that he had learned from the mistakes of his predecessors that such language does not lead to anything good.
Zoran Zaev commented on the veto that Bulgaria imposed on the Republic of North Macedonia to join the EU yesterday: “What happened is a great injustice. I think this is not the wish of the Bulgarian people and Prime Minister Borissov.” According to him, this movement is dictated by the upcoming elections in Bulgaria in March 2021.
