Yambolia was arrested after attacking and beating two Municipal Police officers, who reprimanded him for not entering the local administration building without a protective mask.
The incident signal was given at 11.50 am, the Municipality of Yambol announced.
The man behaved aggressively, loudly threatening employees with the comments “Tonight, I’ll find you and kill you!”
The municipal police officers tried, without using force, to arrest the offender, but the man resisted and beat them, causing injuries. Witnesses of the physical violence are several citizens, as well as employees of SPOOR Yambol.
The man was identified at the scene and taken to the Regional Department by Yambol ODMI employees.
The Municipality of Yambol emphasizes that it will take the necessary actions to protect the rights of its employees.
