Today, Education and Science Minister Krassimir Valchev issued an online education order until spring break for students. For preschoolers and students in grades 1-11, the order is for April 1-2. For seniors, the order deadline is April 5-7, inclusive.
“For children enrolled in preschool education in kindergartens and schools across the country, in the period from April 1 to April 2, inclusive pedagogical interaction should take place, as far as possible, remotely in a electronic environment through the use of information and communication technologies and with the participation of parents.The duration of pedagogical interaction with children must be determined by pedagogical specialists according to the age of the children, but cannot exceed 30 minutes a day ”, the order reads.
It states that “for students from 1st to 12th grade in all schools and in support centers for personal development in the territory of Bulgaria, in the period from April 1 to 2 inclusive, organize distance training in electronic environment using the media of information and communication technologies ”.
“For 12th grade students in all schools and support centers for personal development in Bulgaria, in the period from April 5 to April 7 inclusive, to organize distance learning in an electronic environment using the media of information and communication technologies “, the order reads the Minister of Education.
It is issued due to the need to take measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 in order to guarantee the life and health of students, teachers and other school personnel.
Spring break for first through eleventh grade students begins April 3 and will last through April 11. For 12th graders, Spring Break is April 8-11, inclusive.
