Why is the prosecution hiding the names of the 38 magistrates who hid bank accounts and properties abroad?

Will those 27 magistrates and 11 politicians who have accounts and properties abroad, but have not declared them in the proper order required by KPKONPI and ISJC, be disclosed? This is what the journalist Sasho Dikov asks in a letter, in which he seeks help to make public information about President Rumen Radev and 10 political parties and formations.

We remind you that the announcement that such violations were found for 38 people flashed after checking whether Ivan Geshev has bank accounts in Switzerland and Monaco. The journalist’s letter was also sent to GERB, BSP, VMRO, NFSB, “Ataka”, MRF, “Volya”, “Ima tak narod”, “Izravi se.BG” and “Obedinenie” Democratic Bulgaria “.

This is what it says:

On October 23, 2019, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, headed by Mr. Sotir Tsatsarov, announced that a referral had been received from the State Agency for National Security, with information on:

– Magistrates holding bank accounts and real estate abroad. The prosecutors of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office conducted an additional inspection of the statements published by the ISJC of the persons indicated by the SANS, as to whether these circumstances were declared by the magistrates under the respective procedure before the ISJC in compliance with the requirements of art . 175a – art. 175c of the JSA. It was established that a total of 27 judges, prosecutors and investigators did not declare the bank accounts and properties of the magistrates abroad established by the SANS.

– 11 people who hold senior public positions in legislative and executive bodies, personally or through related or fictitious persons, have bank accounts abroad, real estate and / or other assets of significant value abroad, participation in commercial companies in the abroad, even in offshore companies, and they have incurred expenses and investments abroad that have not been duly declared.

Despite the letters I sent to the prosecutor’s office and personally to current chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev with a call to reveal the names of these 38 people, there is no response.

Do you support my view that revealing these names in key positions in public and political life and in the judiciary would contribute to the fight against corruption?

Do you support my wish for the information to reach the general Bulgarian public and how could it help?

Sincerely, Sasho Dikov, Journalist
