Supermarkets are the place where the English are most frequently infected with the coronavirus, according to a report published by the British National Statistics Office.
The study covered 128,800 patient cases registered in England from November 9-15. Of these, 18.3% were likely infected in supermarkets, which, like other grocery stores, remained open during the first quarantine and second wave of Covid-19. 12.7% of the infection cases were registered in secondary schools and 10.1% in primary schools. 3.6% were infected in hospitals, 2.8% – in nursing homes, 2.4% – in universities, reported dir.bg.
