What we can do today in Europe (COUNTRY REFERENCE)
Starting today, in addition to Bulgaria, several European countries are beginning to lift some of the restrictive measures imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. On this occasion, France Press presents a brief summary of what and where it will work today.
Italy: Italians will be able to visit their families, gather in limited groups, open parks and maintain social distance between the people who comprise them. Work in construction and wholesale trade is being fully restored. Cafes, restaurants and bars will sell food at home. Schools won’t open until September. Restrictions on movement from one area to another remain. The masks are valid for airports and stations and for public transport. Passenger flights at the Ciampino airports in Rome and Peretola in Florence, which were among the airports temporarily closed due to the epidemic, are being restored.
Spain: Starting today, small outlets are being restored, such as hairdressing salons that can accommodate individual clients after a pre-arranged time. Bars, cafes and restaurants will sell household items. Masks are mandatory on public transport. The smallest islands of the Canary and Balearic archipelago will be able to open most of the shops, museums and terraces of bars and restaurants, but with limited capacity. There will also be hotels open, but under certain conditions. Schools remain closed until September.
Greece: Nearly 10 percent of closed retail outlets will be able to open doors, including bookstores, electronics stores, opticians, vehicle inspection points, sporting goods stores, garden supply stores, hairdressing salons, and hair salons beauty, who will work with pre-registration and adaptation workshops. Churches will open doors for individual prayers.
Portugal: small neighborhood shops, hairdressers open at reserved hours, car sales, bookstores. Tax services also open doors at a prearranged meeting and require a mask. Masks become mandatory on public transport. Individual outdoor sports are allowed.
Germany: Schools are gradually opening in some provinces today. Hairdressing salons will open. The opening of temples, museums, monuments and zoos continues. Bars and restaurants will only make home deliveries. Masks are becoming mandatory in transportation and stores.
Austria – Adults return to school before gradual resumption of classes by other students. Masks are essential in public transport and stores.
Belgium: Unwelcome companies will open and masks will be compulsory for public transport.
Hungary: beyond Budapest, open the terraces of cafes and restaurants, beaches. Professional sports training is renewed. Masks are a must in shops and public transport.
Poland: Hotels, shopping malls, part of cultural institutions including libraries and some museums are open.
Croatia: resume services that have close contact with clients, such as beauty salons.
Slovenia: Today the terraces of cafes and restaurants are opened, as well as museums, hairdressers and bookstores. The training of professional athletes is renewed. Masks are required indoors in public places, on public transportation, and in stores.
Serbia: Cafes and restaurants open while observing social distance, masks become a must on public transport, long-distance trains and buses.
Kosovo – Quarantine is lifted in several cities and citizens will be able to leave twice a day for 90 minutes before noon and afternoon. Construction and real estate brokers are also resuming work. Some services are being resumed.
Iceland – Universities, museums and beauty salons are reopening.
