61 inhabitants live in the picturesque town of Mostovo, in the Plovdiv region. Among them, it turns out that there are not only normal and hardworking elderly people, but also 7 families: millionaires, they say in “NOVA Sunday”.
The town of Mostovo is picturesque, mountainous, and has the highest number of millionaires per capita. The settlement can be reached in about an hour and a half from Plovdiv. Around 60 people live there.

One of them is Ivan Zhelev. He worked in the city for many years, but he retired young and returned to the country.
“There are few people here. We are the youngest pensioners. Before we worked in the city, now we don’t have work there. We came here, we have houses, we work downtown,” explains Ivan Zhelev, a Mostovo resident.
Ivan and his colleague Nikolai are the masters of the village. Whatever breaks, they fix it. They also support sidewalks.

“We want the town to revive a bit. When people pass through the square, see that there are people alive in this town. That is why we are trying to improve it little by little,” explains Ivan Zhelev.
In the middle of the day in the village, you are more likely to find eggs than people. There is no doctor there. There is no shop.
“There is a store only on Mondays and Fridays. We have a mobile store. They bring bread and other products. Whoever gets what they need,” explains Nikolai Roynov.
Bad prognosis: Bulgaria is in danger of extinction
In the properties of the town there are several entrepreneurs who own companies in the millions. The locals are not offended that sometimes their town is called Millionerovo.
Some of the rich have companies and factories in Plovdiv, the other part has made guesthouses in the area, as the village is located in the Krastova gora area.
The fabulous place where you get paid to settle in
Mostovo’s deputy mayor once spoke about the seven millionaires who own property in the town, but got his anger. It no longer means who owns what. And in Mostovo, known as Millionaire, life goes one way for the rich and another for the poor.
