The medical report on the case of the death of a high school graduate with COVID-19 at a hospital in Veliko Tarnovo did not show any medical errors, reveals Nova TV. About three months ago, 19-year-old Hristo Denev became the youngest victim of the coronavirus in Bulgaria, and his father accused doctors of administering an experimental treatment, which led to his death.
However, according to the inspection in the hospital, there were no errors in the treatment, only administrative infractions were indicated.
Hristo’s father says he had the opportunity to familiarize himself with the medical documentation in the case. He claims that no one gave permission for an experimental treatment. She added that according to documentation, her son was treated with 30-40 medications.
“When the truth is clarified, there are always at least two sides. When facts and truth come out, it is normal for one of the parties to disagree. In this case, however, the limit of normal has been crossed, “says MHAT Director” Dr. Stefan Cherkezov “Dr. Stefan Filev.
He added that even before the investigation began, a violent media attack and manipulative accusations were launched against the hospital and the professionals who work there.
