“We did not start this war with the president. It started at the beginning of the year, when the president lost confidence in the government.

This was stated by the president of the GERB parliamentary group, Dr. Daniela Daritkova, on the BTV program “Face to Face”.

“Due to the hatred and insults instilled, we had to show our attitude by leaving parliament. And not just us, but also VMRO, VOLIA and independents. We cannot accept the insulting qualifications that Rumen Radev gave us, we do not accept his behavior, which creates dividing lines, calls for riots and riots, ”added Dr. Daritkova.

According to her, today’s scenes of the protest with injured police officers and straw burning at their feet in no way paint a better prospect for Bulgaria.

“That is why we proposed the excessively legitimate procedure to convene the Supreme National Assembly and amend the Constitution.” Each political force expressed their ideas, we did not discuss the idea of the MRF for a cabinet of experts, because we were busy talking about collecting signatures ”, he added.

“To change the direction in which Bulgarian society is moving, we believe that there should be a new social contract, and it should be done through public debate. We believe that if the Grand National Assembly is reached, it will provide the opportunity for a broad legitimate representation so that all parts of Bulgarian society can be heard, “he added.

“We are ready to resign after taking responsibility and pointing out a path for Bulgaria to develop. We offer a public debate on how Bulgarian society should function. A new Constitution will outline the mechanisms by which the three powers: legislative, executive and I want to emphasize that what we have presented does not predetermine the Constitution, which will be voted on by the Supreme National Assembly, “added Dr. Daritkova.

“How will the interim government contribute to the debate in society and its problems?” What problem will it solve? ”, Also asked the president of the parliamentary group GERB. He announced that there is a dialogue with the other groups and some of the proposals of the partners have been accepted: IMRO, NFSB, VOLIA and independents.

When asked how VOLIA changed its decision and supported the ruling party’s project, he said that the appearance of the protest today probably also contributed to Veselin Mareshki’s party agreeing to support them.
