Radostin Pulev, wanted for raping two girls, turned himself in to the police. He arrived with his lawyer Stanimir Chenalov.
Upon entering the police station, Radostin denied raping the girls, writes kazanlak.com.
“He did not tell me anything about the rape. The competent authorities will decide whether he is guilty or not. For me, this person, from what he shared with me, it is very difficult to accept that he is guilty. The investigation is in the initial phase,” commented the Radostin’s lawyer.
He also clarified that he did not hide from the police. He wanted to give up yesterday. Due to the personal commitment of his attorney, the 35-year-old from Enin surrendered today. Police were informed and showed confidence, Chenalov said.
“So far no charges have been filed. He was detained for 24 hours. The supervising prosecutor will assess, based on the materials collected, whether charges should be filed. There may be charges and 72 hours of detention, but it is not clear whether there will be a measure.
For me, this guy hasn’t done anything at the moment. This is based on their history, “he added.
A 17-year-old girl lodged a complaint against Enin’s man with the Kazanlak police. She said that she and her adult friend had been drugged and raped for two days.
The girls were at a birthday party where Radostin was also present. He drugged them and took them to a house in Enina. Before releasing them, the rapist threatened to kill them if they told the story or betrayed him.
A case against Radostin Pulev is scheduled for January 26 in the Kazanlak District Court. The charge is for fornication with a minor. The case was from June 2020.
