If you travel to Greece or Turkey after May 13, a 14-day quarantine will be required, Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova told journalists in parliament.
These are the temporary measures at this stage, to date. The situation is extremely dynamic. We are waiting for the instructions of the European Commission, the guide that is being prepared in the “Tourism” sector. The instructions will be announced on May 13, Angelkova said.
At the same time, our Foreign Ministry announced today that “Facebook posts on the bilateral agreement signed between Bulgaria and Greece for the travel of quarantined citizens do not correspond to the truth.”
I would like to ask all Bulgarians to rest on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. We count on everyone to visit the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The weather is wonderful, I hope it continues like this, said the Minister of Tourism.
May 24 is a wonderful holiday: everyone who has a chance is welcome on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and across the country, he urged.
Angelova also announced that on June 1 the beaches are ready to start their work.
