There are only two polling stations in Corlu. And statistics show that voters – thousands. And precisely because the sections are small and the people are many, queues have formed since early in the morning.

Traditionally, one of the things that most hinders voters in Turkey is the statements that some voters fill out before casting their vote. This year, the problem is solved: in a separate room, several people fill out the necessary information. And then the voter just signs in front of the voting table.

Two hours after the start of Election Day, the queue split in two. On one side are the people whose names appear on the list and do not have to complete statements. And on the other hand, those who have to fill in the document.

In one of Corlu’s polling stations alone there are more than 1,700 people who have applied in advance to vote, however experience has shown that there are many voters who do not express their wishes in advance. About 500 people voted in the section at noon. The figures for the other section of the city are similar.
