The former member of the group of teachers Vitosha (Bistritsa) closes the men’s team and leaves the Second League championship, reports the website Sportal.bg.
The news was confirmed by the head coach of the “Tigers” Kostadin Angelov.
Vitosha’s likeable team played three seasons in the elite, and most of the time they were in last place. The new cutting-edge model saved Bistrita from relegation after he performed excellently in the playoffs at the end of the season.
In the championship that ended in June, the regulations were changed and Vitosha was relegated to Second League. During three seasons the Bistrita in Primera registered 12 victories, 17 draws and 64 defeats. Their goal difference is 58 to 166. 10 of the victories are in the 2018-2019 season.
On Saturday, the “Tigres” lost their home to Lokomotiv (GO) and the team was left with 6 points from 7 games, placing 13th in the standings.
In case of cancellation before the New Year, the team’s matches are canceled. Thus, in the Second League there will be 2 holiday clubs in each round.
