More than 900 constituent members participated in the event and voted on the party’s statute and president today, January 3, 2021. The civic platform of the “Bulgarian Summer” political party held its constituent assembly.
Due to the extraordinary epidemic situation in the country and the current ban on holding mass events, the meeting was the first of its kind to be held entirely online. More than 900 founding party members met online. The presence of each one will be confirmed by notarization of the voted documents. Mr. Boril Sokolov was elected president of the party.
“Today we will take the next step towards the realization of the only alternative political project. It’s time for the last fight. This is the last chance for Bulgaria, if we don’t change things and go in the right direction now, it will be too late. Now is the time for each of us to do our best for a better, stronger and more united Bulgaria. All other parties have disguised themselves as an alternative, we will not have masks. Each of you will be yourself and you will find many friends and like-minded people ready to help each other at any time. Only then can we see our homeland where we want it to be ”. Mr. Sokolov addressed the party members.
GP “Bulgarian Summer” founder, Mr. Vasil Bozhkov, joined the live event and said: “It’s time to finish the transition. And open a new page together. No one has given you a chance until now. And You can! Deep down, each of you doubts that the junta can be defeated. However, I have no doubt. I know this can and must happen. One way or another, everyone has suffered from the failure of the transition. Together we have one last chance and I will not betray you! The hour of justice is drawing near. Justice for all. Uncompromising. Court and prison for the perpetrators of the third national catastrophe. Fear and despair are their main weapons However, our people are strong and awake. We are the power! “
