The United States has asked Russia and Turkey to withdraw from Libya immediately, after the deadline was ignored, AFP reported.
“We urge all external forces, including Russia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, to respect Libyan sovereignty and to immediately end any military intervention in Libya,” said US Ambassador to the United Nations Richard Mills in a meeting of the Security Council on Libya.
