Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov warned people in Bulgaria that things with COVID-19 are not optimistic and therefore we must be very careful. He added that discussing whether to allow people in parks and mountains to play sports was discussed today, but the decision was postponed until the end of the week due to increasing coronavirus contamination. Borisov explained that he was considering another postponement of the Olympics for another year. From Borisov’s statement it is clear that there will not be a sport in Bulgaria any time soon.
“We are going up very steeply. Large groups are starting to get sick. We couldn’t avoid this massive trip. We did everything we could to keep people from feeling prisoner. From Friday to Saturday we will have a much clearer picture of the rate of disease growth. Talks have started about the postponement of the Olympics for next year. Now everyone is coronavirus. Societies and the world are sick.
The problem next week will be with medical professionals. They are getting sicker and we will be in short supply. Further loosen the measures? We have not done five things to loosen the measures. The world has not been managed in any way. As a good doctor, I cannot write this prescription, to cancel the measurements. Do we have to go through the intensive and the apparatus to discover what it is? Where did it end – in China, Korea, Singapore? Where’s the solution? Which did you see We have mitigated all five measures. If the peak does not rise, on Friday Saturday we will talk about parks and mountains of two people without meeting in groups and drinking beer. Don’t think I don’t want to let people into parks and mountains.
Our job is to squeeze and preserve people’s lives. Nothing shows us to be optimistic at the moment. The infected and the deceased must tell us otherwise. If we notice that the curve is not so steep, we will free the parks and mountains, but in a strict order, “said Borisov.
