The Manchester United team qualified for the fourth round of the League Cup tournament in England, after eliminating the Luton Town team. The Red Devils won 3-0 after penalties by Juan Mata in the first half and late goals by Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

In the second half, the United class had a voice, especially after the entry of Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford.
