The Manchester United team recorded a solid victory on their visit to West Ham in London. The Red Devils were successful 3: 1, as the winners’ three goals came in the second half. Bruno Fernandes, who is becoming an increasingly important figure for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, took great credit for the turn in favor of the guests.
Today started the game on the bench and appeared in a break game, which started the change of course for United. Fernandes was at the root of all the most dangerous at the door of the “hammers”, who did not show their qualities from the first part.
It was West Ham who opened the scoring through Tomasz Soucek in the 38th minute, but after goals from Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford, the guests reached three points.
The other big news today is the return of the fans to the stadiums. The London Stadium was attended by 1,000 spectators, and photos of the match can be seen in our gallery.

The hosts made a better start to the game and in the second minute United goalkeeper Dean Henderson had to make a key save after a shot from Jarod Bowen. A few minutes later, West Ham hit a Bowen goal, but it was correctly disallowed by an ambush.
The hosts continued to act much more insistently than their opponent, who relied mainly on counterattacks and pushed the game deep into his half. In minute 31, the “hammers” were very close to opening the scoring.
Following an error in the delivery of the ball by United, the players organized a counterattack, which almost ended in a goal. The ball was centered to the right of the far post of the goal, and Fornals, lurking in second position, shot incorrectly.
Four minutes later, after a similar attack, Fornals was again at the top of the attack of the hosts. This time his shot was much more accurate, but unfortunately the ball stopped on the crossbar.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s players responded with a long shot from Pogba that nevertheless made it difficult for the West Ham goalkeeper.
The logical thing happened in minute 38, when the locals went ahead. After a corner cross, the ball was sent to a nearby crossbar, where Declan Rice deflected it slightly towards Tomasz Soucek. The Czech found himself completely alone and up close sent it to the net by 1: 0. Two minutes later, Haller made an unforgivable pass. He came face to face with goalkeeper Henderson, beat him, but at the last moment before hitting the almost empty door, he slipped and the ball was taken away.
A minute before the end, United tried again to harass the rival point guard, this time with a little more success. Marcial found himself in a good position and shot hard, but Fabianski showed class and took a corner.
Shortly after the break, the Hammers could have scored a second goal, but Jarod Bowen failed to hit the empty goal from a few yards.
This led to the 65th minute, when a ball kicked by goalkeeper Henderson hit Fernandes. The Portuguese went through the ground to the arc of the penalty area and Paul Pogba with a tremendously attractive rebound tied 1: 1.
Just three minutes later, another swift Manchester United attack allowed Mason Greenwood to score 2: 1.
In the 72nd minute, Rashford’s shot found the crossbar of the home team’s goal. However, the English international reached a goal in the 78th minute, in which he was led behind the back of the West Ham defense by another reserve, Juan Mata, and shaped the final result.
With the success, Manchester United accumulated 19 points and ranked fourth in the standings. West Ham is in seventh place with 17 points.
