The death toll remains high
1,277 are new cases of coronavirus after 4,304 PCR tests. Positive results were recorded at 29.6%, according to the National Information Portal.
In Sofia there are 181 new infected and in Plovdiv, 166. They are followed by Varna with 96 and Burgas with 81.
The downward trend in the number of active cases continues, reaching 83,041 in the last day. The number of hospitalized patients is also decreasing, currently standing at 6,287,523 in intensive care units.
2,908 people were cured, which is more than twice as many as those newly infected.
Unfortunately, the death toll remains high and in the last 24 hours the battle against the disease has lost 156 people.
