Of the total of 8,084 tests performed during the last 24 hours, 3,703 were performed using the PCR method. 4,381 rapid antigen tests were also performed. Positive tests are 17.79%.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Bulgaria, confirmed cases of infection are 199,491 and active cases are 76,684. Most of the new infections have been recorded in Sofia (246), Varna (171) and Plovdiv (128).

However, by the last day, there were twice as many cured: 2,919, bringing the total number to 115,402. The victims of the pandemic are now 7,405, after 154 people lost in the last 24 hours to combat the disease.

5023 people were hospitalized, of which 474 were in the intensive care unit.
