Only two people survived and 25 died in the crash of a military plane in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine last nightannounced the Kiev authorities. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he would visit the crash site today.

According to Oleksiy Kucher, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, one of the pilots reported damage to the left engine of the twin-engine plane. The area of ​​the accident is about 40 km from the Russian border, but it is not in the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine. The separatist republics of Lugansk and Donetsk are 250 km from the crash site, the DPA said.
