The most pronounced increase is in the salaries of doctors and medical personnel. 36 administrations have received a raise since this year, all of them are front-line employees and are among the people who do not stand at desks and counters. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev in the BNT “Referendum” program.
According to him, there is a serious problem not only with frontline doctors, but also in RHI services, social workers, the situation with teachers is similar.
“The objective of the state is this assistance, this measure to reach the maximum number of people and be well oriented,” Tomislav Donchev said about the salary increase.
“There will be no moratorium on loans; the position of the ECB is that we must be careful with such measures,” Donchev said.
The deputy prime minister explained that a new measure is being developed in conjunction with the National Revenue Agency in terms of payments to companies, so that the entire base can be used in the Revenue Agency. “We need to make a clear assessment of priorities, so we have to be flexible. There is no clear consensus on when the pandemic will end, we are in an unknown and uncertain environment,” he said.
