The owner of the second largest Levski football stake, Titi Papazov, was again filmed committing a serious road violation. “Save Sofia” uploaded images on the social network Facebook, showing his personal car. The organization was asked to remove the book:
Titi Papazov’s car was photographed again on a serious offense: passing a column and a left turn at a red light! If it turns out that the car with the number 4727 AC was driven by him, this will be another offense of recorded and documented serious traffic of this individual.
Due to the series of ugly and serious infractions on the road, we demand that the Sofia Police Department immediately remove Papazov’s book and penalize him with a fine. The systematic violation of laws, the creation of preconditions for serious traffic accidents and the threat to human lives in the center of Sofia must be stopped immediately and severely punished. The road safety problem is serious and systemic, but the authorities clearly prefer to continue to kill the road rather than take uncompromising measures.
There is no way for the public to trust the police, who beat people up and systematically close their eyes to serious violations on the roads by self-forgotten people who believe themselves above the law. It is this double standard that drives people to the streets of Bulgaria for the second month!
We also insist that Yordanka Fandakova immediately commission a review of the Sofia Municipality camera recordings, for which we paid millions of levies several times over, and hand them over to the SDVR! If such actions are not taken, it will only prove that the thousands of cameras installed are another project that has been spent millions on, with no real benefit from it.
The mayor also has the obligation to ensure order and tranquility, so her actions will be proof of whether she is working in the public interest or “some are more equal than others,” the publication said.
