A serious accident closed the main Ruse-Varna road. Two people died. The incident occurred near the fork in the town of Dryanovets.

The collision signal between a jeep and a truck was received around 12:00 on telephone 112. It was established at the scene that the driver of the car and another passenger had died at the scene. He is a 35-year-old man and a woman from Ruse. The truck driver, a 42-year-old man from Shumen, was not injured.

The circumstances that led to the accident are being clarified. Two bypass routes have been introduced: for trucks – Razgrad – Kubrat – Ruse, and for cars – Razgrad – Dryanovets – Senovo – Vyatovo – Tsar Kaloyan – Ruse. An investigator is currently conducting an investigation of the scene.
