three examples that say it all

ACTS Post opinions with a wide range of perspectives to foster constructive discussion.

They refused to resign because they were the best. And irreplaceable. However, his rule is more of a failure story. Here are three examples:

Yasen Boyadzhiev’s comment:

They would give up, but their hearts won’t budge. Because the state must remain stable, and they are responsible people and they know that without them everything would fail. Otherwise, as the prime minister says, “If there were capable people, I would gladly let them rule.” But there is no “want to quit, but don’t know what to do”. Therefore, “while others are just talking, we are working.” our opponents have nothing to say. “

And really: “well done” things are all around us. Not to be outdone, here are three typical examples featured by the news recently.

One of the most remarkable achievements

These days ended the two-year saga, which became known as Ordinance H-18 and the abbreviation SUPTO (point-of-sale sales management software). Undoubtedly one of the most notable managerial achievements of the current government.

It all started with the noble idea of exposing the turnover. To do this, the authorities have ordered all companies to change the software with which they run their businesses. However, the relevant requirements turned out to be confusing, unclear, contradictory, often superfluous and even unenforceable, and the mentioned regulation slowly expanded to several hundred pages and dozens of appendices. A gigantic chaos in which no one could navigate. Sadistic punishment for 300,000 Bulgarian companies.

After numerous delays these days, it has become clear that everything is being canceled. The titanic effort of two years, the enormous public energy spent and the hundreds of millions already invested by the company are going to waste. Along with the very idea of lightening commercial billing.

Another “hit” in e-government

One of the areas in which the government has traditionally had consistent “success” is e-government. Hardly anyone can remember the number of projects or calculate the exact amount of money wasted (hundreds of millions in any case). And e-government in its final form is still looming somewhere far on the horizon.

The same applies to the so-called. e-justice. It has only swallowed tens of millions, but the result still goes unnoticed. After several years of torment and various announcements, termination and renewal of public procurement, these days the construction project of the main pillar in the structure of e-justice – the so-called Unified Information System of the courts. However, it turned out that the product created for millions of levies has so many problems that instead of facilitating the work of the judges, it significantly complicates it. There were also judicial protests. After all, the day after its implementation in all courts, the system was suspended to perfect it. Otherwise, of course, the money is used successfully.

The truth about the “money press”

After numerous delays, the toll system, which must collect tolls for heavy vehicles, finally came into operation on March 1. Six months later, it’s already clear: the notorious “money press” (as defined by the Prime Minister) is getting more expensive, swallowing up more and more costs for taxpayers, but its income was 3-4 times lower than what. expected. Which is not at all surprising, given the years of torment, fights, and misunderstandings that accompany it.

Thus, the fulfillment of the great objective – the toll system to support the construction and maintenance of roads – is postponed again for the uncertain future. On the other hand, income continues to grow for those who, by a dubious and happy coincidence, fell to implement and maintain the system.

They are the best at this

These three examples are no exception. Wherever you look, you will find things so “well done”, the result of incompetence, incompetence and / or corruption. in terms of its management, it is a story of failure.

However, it is certain that whatever happens, during this time someone has successfully absorbed some money …
